Math homework: At the beginning of each week I will give your child a review packet of work to do for homework. They can work on it throughout the week and return it on Friday for a check on their Star Chart.
Math ideas for the home:
Try playing a game where your child gives you a math problem to do and you give them one. If they get it right, they get a point and so on.
Most kids need practice with money. Some ideas might be to give your child the change in your pocket and have them buy something from you or from the store. If they are going to have dessert for example, maybe you give them a dollar and tell them dessert costs 75 cents. They have to figure out what coins to give you and how much they should get back.
Many kids need practice with telling time. At any random time you can just ask your child to tell you what time it is. You might also ask what time it would be in 15 minutes, etc.
